About Jennifer...
Jennifer Dollander, Ed.S., is a Special Education teacher with over 20 years of experience helping children with learning disabilities thrive. She holds an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree and is certified in both Elementary and Special Education, as well as being trained in Orton Gillingham. Throughout her career, she has written hundreds of IEPs, participated in countless eligibility and IEP meetings, and worked alongside families to help students receive the support they need.
Jennifer created Confident Parents in Education because she believes parents should never feel intimidated or unprepared when advocating for their child. Her mission is to equip families with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to navigate the special education process and become effective, informed members of their child's educational team.
